Activities

There are many skills acquired during the building of a layout including artwork, mechanical engineering, electronics, woodwork, architecture, landscaping and coffee making.

Much social discussion also takes place and there are plenty of opportunities for people at all levels to meet the members.

The club regularly supports other model railway clubs and societies by exhibiting our portable layouts at selected railroad shows and events.

These are also excellent opportunities to meet other modellers and share skills and experiences.

Over the Xmas holidays we help to maintain and operate a model railroad layout on behalf of the Quinte Mall. Currently we are building a new layout for the mall to be ready for the 2012 Xmas holidays.
